This week's run

DISCLAIMER Hash events involve cross-country running and walking and might face certain risks, including river crossings, rickety bridges and swamps, as well as from buffalos, cows, dogs, snakes, hornets, ants, mosquitos, getting lost and angry farmers. Participating in our events means that you are aware of these risks, that you will behave responsibly to minimize those risks to yourself and others, that you participate at your own risk and that you indemnify the Hanoi Hash and those organizing the events against claims, costs and damages.

Who
The Hanoi Hash is a run / walk where old and young, quick and slow can do some exercise and sightseeing and have fun on a Saturday afternoon. Participants call themselves the Hanoi Hash House Harriers. There is no membership, just show up on a Saturday.

What
There are two trails, a running trail and a walking trail. The running trail is usually around 9-12 km, and the walking trail is usually around 6-8 km. The trails are usually marked with flour or shredded paper or spray paint. There is a circle before the run, a beer stop about halfway, and a circle after the run.

Where
Most runs are set within one and a half hour drive from Hanoi. It is a great opportunity to see something of the countryside and daily life in small Vietnamese villages.

When
Every Saturday, rain or shine. The bus leaves at 1:30PM sharp from 36 Ngo Quyen street, near the corner with Hai Ba Trung street, in Hoan Kiem District. There's no waiting. Check the run direction for exceptions.

After
Runs are followed by an On On, an informal and sweaty dinner somewhere in Hanoi.

How much
150,000 VND. First-timers on our Hash, add 50,000 VND but present included.
Children less than 5 years: free
Hashers who come with their own vehicles and their passengers: 100,000 VND
