A week ago, our regular hash was canceled due to a powerful storm that brought heavy rains, strong winds, and rising rivers, leaving us all feeling a bit constrained by worry. However, this past hash, held just after the typhoon had passed, was a welcome relief as many hashers eagerly joined the run.
We ventured through the stunning pine forests on the hills, navigating up and down long, gentle slopes. The landscape was particularly breathtaking, with the pine trees looking especially vibrant after the days of rain. Yet, the aftermath of the storm was clear: many trees had been uprooted by the typhoon’s fierce winds. Despite the obstacles, our dedicated hare team did a fantastic job marking the trails, helping us stay on course and return to the Circle on time.
This hash was not just a run but a Charity Run organized by H4 following Typhoon Yagi. The super typhoon caused severe damage in the northern mountainous provinces of our country. In response, H4MMC quickly launched a Donation Appeal, and hashers have been generously contributing with both money and supplies to aid the recovery efforts.
